Since January 2014
How Medscapes started
Medscapes LLC was registered with the Florida Division of Corporations in January 2014, and we work to one idea: build the yard properly once, with the same team from the first walk-through to the handover.
Today we are led by installation work: new sod, paver patios and driveways, artificial turf, landscape lighting and drainage, with landscape design and full-service maintenance for the yards we build. You can see our work in the gallery or read our Google reviews.

Sod installation
St. Augustine, zoysia or Bermuda on a graded, prepared base.
Pavers and hardscaping
Paver and hardscape installation: patios, driveways, walkways, travertine, retaining walls and fire pits.
Artificial turf
For backyards, play areas and dog runs, on a draining base.
Landscape lighting
Low-voltage LED fixtures from Garden Light and VOLT.
Landscape design
Free hand sketches on approved projects; 2D and 3D designs priced per project.

Straight answers
What we don't do
Some jobs belong to specialists. We tell you up front, and point you to the right kind of company.
- Lawn chemicals
- We don't apply fertilizer or pesticides. For lawn treatments, use an FDACS-licensed provider.
- Irrigation work
- We don't install or repair irrigation; custom system design, new zones and sprinkler changes go to a licensed irrigation contractor. We plan new beds and sod around your current watering.
- Tree work
- We don't do tree removal ourselves; a subcontractor we arrange does that work. Tree consultations are ours.
Director of Operations
Meet Doug
Doug Wilson is our Director of Operations. He walks every property himself before a quote is written: sun and shade, soil, drainage, sprinkler coverage, access and HOA rules, and above all how you want to use the yard.
Then he writes the quote: one document for the whole job, naming the plants and materials, so you can compare it line by line. Many of our reviews mention him by name. You can contact Doug and the team to book a visit.

Free on-site estimate
Doug walks the property with you and talks through what you want the yard to do.
Written quote
One quote for the whole job, naming the plants and materials, before anything is scheduled.
Permits and approvals
Permits pulled, HOA review flagged and Sunshine 811 called where the job needs them.
Build
Drainage and grading first, then paving, then planting and sod.
Handover
We walk the finished job with you and leave a written watering schedule for new sod and plants.
Ongoing care, if you want it
Full-service maintenance on 40-week or 50-week plans, from the team that built the yard.
